The sago palm tree, although not a true palm, is an excellent house plant for beginner gardeners. Capable of growing indoors or out, the sago palm makes an exotic addition to any room or garden. The sago palm will grow in any lighting condition, but prefers bright lights and will thrive with less frequent watering.
